Tom Najar

|
Tom travels to his native Italy, where he visits family and does a lot of photography.
His greatest gift is the ability to see what others do not see. Yes, we all know that monuments of the past have been photographed a million million times, yet Tom captures a sense of 'magnificent beauty' in what he shoots. His photography depicts that aura of being significant even as modern day vehicles move around.
The style that Tom does best is simulated panoramic scenes, landscapes, vistas, and great distances. As an example is the photo of the Golden Gate bridge. How many photographers have been lucky enough to capture the bridge as two sailing vessels approach it. And in a manner consistent with the structural dynamics of the bridge itself, as his photo demonstrates. You will find the Golden Gate Bridge photo under Landscapes & Vistas.Tom's portfolio is huge. About 14,000 photos covering the last 19-years. We will have a good portion of those photos in his gallery. |
